That's messed up.
The thing that bugged me the most was the level of stupidity shown by not only being barefoot around an active fire ant nest, but also around a red hot crucible full of molten aluminum. I have no love lost for the ants, screw those hippies.

Was the video taken in a different country? My phone wouldn't let me watch all of it. The screen is a bit screwy and sometimes when I play videos the screen goes black.
We've watched videos of people making metal animals before and they were clearly not in a first world country.
I bet the barefoot thing has something to do with that. I certainly wouldn't want to be working around liquids that hot without a lot of protective gear.

I noticed that too. It's like he's asking for some serious injuries.
