Holy hell, that's my coop temp. I just gave the girls cold watermelon, they usually don't touch watermelon but they gobbled it up today!

We are supposed to hit record highs today. I know 97° might not be too hot for some but for Ohio in the middle of June, that's hot. It's not even summer yet technically

It's still weirdly cold here. During the day it's usually been around the high 70s-low 80s, and at night it's been dropping into the 50s.

A kiddie pool with a few inches of water they can stand in under some shade will help. toss in a block of ice or 2 as well. If you have a sprayer nozzle for your hose that will do a fine mist, you can suspend it some place they can stand under it too. And keep the cool/frozen treats going. An ice block with frozen fruits/veg in it is a great cluck-sicle.
