Uhmmm… I may have dreamed it. I thought I had used it before but I can’t remember on what.

My boss had one of those black poly something or other water troughs. It had a small crack on the bottom. He tried that stuff and it didn't work at all.
Worked out for me. It's one of my brooders now.
