If I have to explain the joke, then it must have been a bad one. So… knowing how you hate the way Americans allegedly believe the world should revolve around how we do things, I decided to point out km usage or whatever instead of mileage. Then seeing the 38C, I needed to make that American as I could. 38 cents was the best I could do. 38 cents per mile for operating costs was just one more km vs mile jab. I know things are looking grim with Covid and monkey pox and there was another yesterday but I don’t even remember what it was called. They did compare it to Ebola though and no vaccine.

Gasoline has made it back to under $4.00 a gallon here

I paid $3.99 this morning. I don’t know if that is good compared to other states or not

I drive a diesel and it's 1.90€ a litre here - Gasoline is over 2,00€ a litre... that's over $8.00 a gallon. With no public transport in the countryside round here, people have to pay it to live!
