Was always cheaper than non-leaded here too, but earlier this year it seemed to go more expensive than non leaded for a short while, then back down again.
Most French cars are diesel so, maybe Macron tried seeing how people would react? He soon did another u-turn, if so!
I think the EU is trying to phase out Diesel. In fact, I think the EU is trying to phase out everything!

Didn’t do a Covid test. This far in, it doesn’t matter. I’m left with a nasty cold, horrid sinus infection and a 2 year old’s snot eye infection. That’s embarrassing. Grown man with pink eye.
