Everything I've done, I've always felt I could've done better. If you knew the people I know, you wouldn't be proud either. Most of what has been in my life was drugs, alcohol, and abuse. Zero pride there; when I was able to kick my own drug/alcohol habit, I told myself I was an idiot for starting it in the first place, so no room for pride there, either. The closest I have to a child is my nephew whom I am a nanny to. And I'm just happy that I got him to reach all his milestones when he did, or my brother and his girlfriend would have blamed me for him being behind. And marriage will not happen. I am firm on this. I love, truly love, no one. I feel familial love for those I'm related to, but nothing else for anyone except my animals (hence why I will NEVER cull my cockerels). So yeah, pride is not an emotion I am capable of, I guess.

I'm not sad about it, so cheer up! You can't miss what you've never had, so I'm quite content. I got my chickens, and my cats, and the family dog. And a lil that will soon have me chasing him everywhere and threatening him with a baby leash. I have a full life. Saddness is not allowed!

My theme song is Let It Go from Frozen. It totally works and keeps everything balanced in my mind.
