Which BYC member scares you?

What in the world are these?
Tarantula hawks are parasitoid (meaning they lay eggs on their victims) wasps that prey on tarantulas. They have a paralytic venom and they will sting, drag the victim back to their nest, and lay an egg on it. The larva will then eat the spider.

They are usually fairly docile but they will sting if you mess with them (or if you're doing landscaping work and accidentally disturb them). Their sting is incredibly painful.

Like a Cicada Killer? Dirt daubers do that to wasps here.
@ColtHandorf you are familiar with the Cow Killer Ants? I've heard that is the worst sting.
I am. I've never been stung by one, but I see them occasionally.
