No hillbilly would ever own let alone wear crocs. Wouldn't happen. I don't even let people wearing them on my property.
White trash? Ya maybe the moo moo wearing type that only buys socks at the flea market white trash but not the self respecting type.

Im retired, (ie an old person) I really don't give a rats ass what people think of my apparael when im working in the garden. it's going to get dirty, trashed, ripped, sweaty, tore up etc. Im not wearing good clothing out there.

I don't do sandals because that post thing between the toes is annoying AF. Flip flops get stuck / pulled off, that post / toe triangle gets pulled out. barefoot not an option, too much stuff in my yard, besides chicken crap, nails etc to seriously cut yourself on. Work boots, too heavy and too hot.

Honest ?, what do you wear when you are working in the garden? Im not talking on the tractor or any equipment, because then you'd be moron if you are not wearing good solid boots, but just flapping around in the yard doing light work?

OH PS, Ill put the KV rated boots on if I am working on my solar. 1200 VDC through your heels is a M$#%$F#^$%@#

and PPS Ill wear a full booted up bee suit when working on the hives. Don't need to prove im a man with a trip to the ER and replacing a 300 dollar EPI pen.

If I’m doing “light work”, this pair old sneakers I have, that are surprisingly white for what they’ve gotten into... crocs are nice, but I don’t wear them, maybe to the beach If I had a pair. They are wildly convenient, so I see where you come from. Noone should give half a rat’s ass about what people think.

Oh yah, I have a pair of the old school reeboks I wear too when I need a little more foot covering. I think over time they get so dirty, they just give up and turn white again. kind of like how bones laying in the desert eventually bleach out back white

Mne are Reebok too! I dont know how old school, I just got new shoes and they just happened to get all yuck, so I just designated them “the poo shoes”



my baby chicks aren’t scared of the color either, they see them and come running. I love the neck twist they do when I bend down to see them and they get surprised it was me all the way up there.

I got reebok because they were reasonably priced.
Let's see, 200 dollars for a pair of shoes from a company that hates the US and proudly displays it, or a pair that is built just as well, yet cost 20 percent? Believe it or not they were cheaper than the Vans were !! So, Reebok it was and they are still going. I wear them on the boat too so they get salted and fish poo'd up too. Oh and crab gizzard juiced.

My son grows some pumpkins etc but I don't "garden".
I don't eat garden stuff. I eat stuff that eats garden stuff.
I wear boots year around. I don't think I'd feel right working or kicking @$$ in plastic footwear.

Yeah they’re good at room temperature. But they are NOT good at fridge temperature

I have never heard of people putting brownies in the fridge.
