Females. And spayed. If I wanted to cuddle with something that can’t control their “lipstick”, I’d have a boyfriend.

Bitches behave better than males do and they don’t spray piss everywhere.

My male is very well behaved and has never sprayed anywhere. Any female dog I've ever know had been aloof and snotty

If they are neutered before they learn to mark it helps tremendously. Some males are more prone than others. But if they haven’t been altered I can guarantee they are tinkling on stuff in the house. So annoying.

The only issue I’ve had with females, is with young dachshunds. They have excitable bladders and will tinkle when they get excited or scared. After three or four that usually stops.

Poodles are too sissy for me. But I do know they are very smart and great hunting dogs. Hmmm
