Teslas are ok. But if you're really into evs I recommend looking into rivian. They make a mean ev truck. Makes the cyber truck look like a joke.

On my list. the Kia EV6 GT is as well, not as nice looking but 565 horses. I'd trade my Stinger for that.

I love the new kias. Doesn't look half bad. And they get up. I just don't like the cyber truck looks like a damn toy. I feel that if Tesla had just made it look like a traditional American truck it would have gotten more attention.

The cyber truck looks like my 5 year old drew it in art class. There's a difference between "edgy and futuristic", and "I should smoke WAY less dope when I approve concept designs"

I get It. I used to think the same way. Nothing will replace the power of an old diesel. My chevy 6.5 is my baby. And has made me some money the last couple years. But I know the prices of diesel will only keep going up.

It's like they weren't trying to sell to the working class or any man that actually uses a truck on a daily basis. It's basically a damn movie prop.

it was a loss leader more than anything.

created a lot of buzz that ultimately led to more sales of their production models. it was never going to be a big seller.

I respect that. I've been looking into ev trucks for a while. Im still waiting on one that can actually survive iowa winters and haul a chipper with dump.

you should have a lot of options in the next few years. i believe gmc and ford are rolling out electric pickups.

i put a preorder deposit down for a 2024 caddy lyric this morning. 100% refundable, so i can see how the 2023 model does and decide if i want to go ahead with buying one.
