What’s the yield like compared to the amount of work you put into it?

It’s hard to say. I guess it depends on how big of an operation you set up. Ours are just for the occasional snack for about 20birds so my set up is basically just a large aquarium & a couple Home Depot buckets.

Your biggest investment will be the sifters. They aren’t that much, but they’re necessary.

Ultimately they are very little work & not something you need to maintain daily.

@WallyG74 dried mealworms at my feed store are crazy expensive. I won’t buy them online because who knows where they’re from & what they’ve been fed.

I like knowing exactly what my guys are eating & how they were raised. The birds think the live, squirmy guys are a blast.
