Yeah, German is weird like that. You really have to watch those double letters. I've been speaking German my whole life and I still accidentally leave out letters.

Seriously though, I have YET to encounter a person here on BYC who deliberately goes out of their way to be an a-hole. Yes, we have some personality conflicts, and some folks who can dig in if they believe they're right about something, but they're not actively going out of their way to hurt other member's feelings. Those kinds of trolly scum get shown the door pretty quickly by the admin team, so the rest of us can enjoy each other's company. Is it perfect? No, because we're humans and even people who are close don't always get along all the time. But I've yet to encounter someone here who I would not share a beer with (except the kids, they can have sodas).

Just some unsolicited perspective.
