I candled them. The one that was bad was all sloshy inside the air cell. No movement, nothing.

No, I just had to employ some wit and quick feet. The other geese had left the broody in the house while they went to eat grass so I ran pell mell down the hill with my net and managed to get inside and shut the door before they all stormed the castle.

I was able to get into the goose house and take away the rest of the eggs to see what was going on with them. I threw out one that was dead and the other one I'm not sure about it so I put it back under her. We'll see what happens.
