I candled them. The one that was bad was all sloshy inside the air cell. No movement, nothing.

Oh, icky. Toss that one before she breaks it. Listen to the other one. You can tap a bit. Actually, when you held them, did the sloshy one feel cooler? I'm fully convinced I can tell when there is a live baby in an egg because they produce their own heat, thus the egg is warmer to the touch than a dead one. If the other one was hotter I say leave it. But you may need to help it yourself in the bator and then give it back.

No, I just had to employ some wit and quick feet. The other geese had left the broody in the house while they went to eat grass so I ran pell mell down the hill with my net and managed to get inside and shut the door before they all stormed the castle.

Fried frog legs battered fried alligator tail meat battered and fried soft shell crabs battered. All battered in wet batter. Mmmmmmmmmm
