It's so weird to me that they eat the guts out and leave those neck muscles. I guess the heart and liver are more tender and nutrient dense tho

Bears are the same way with fish. I’ve often wondered about that myself.

Kill bites were on top of neck and underside of neck (other side)

I have seen but not heard foxes around. Until the other night, when I heard a vixen calling for a mate. It was the strangest noise, high pitched shrieking. Sounded exactly what I imagine a pteradactyl to have sounded like

There were a few cougar spottings in a neighborhood close to where I live. There was even one in an orchard with some workers nearby
