I know there is 10 mm in a cm, 10 cm in a decimeter, 10 decimeters in a meter, 10 meters in a dekameter, 10 dekameters in a hectometer, and 10 hectometers in a kilometer

What I would do with that? Not much
Metric system is easy I know
.30, .32, .35 .38, 9mm, 10mm, .45, .50 etc easy peasy

Every nut, bolt, and fastener on those missions is metric...

Interestingly, all the computer guidance was also metric for the calculations, BUT, was displayed in feet/miles/nautical miles for the crew because as pilots, that's what they were used to and understood. Here's a neat article about that,

This concludes my nerd talk. Please tip your servers. :p
I gave you a "like"
Good enough?

I swear we've been back there like five or six times🤔
Lemme check. I will be disappointed in us if we've really stayed away for 40+ years😩
Danngit we've only had six manned missions and it's been a long time since the last one😭

To no one's surprise, I have a footlocker full of space junk like this:

Magazines, newspaper clippings, patches, records (vinyl), 8mm film, reel-to-reel, a couple maps, etc. From pre-Apollo through early 90's. My Godfather was a space nut and is a large part of why I'm also obsessed, and he gave me his "space junk trunk" shortly before he passed.

Good grief man, how do you remember all of these dates?! I'm lucky if I remember my mother's birthday 🤣
I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid. I would still jump at the chance to go to space without hesitation.
