I'd been there for like 3 weeks after a motorcycle wreck.
I was ready to go home but they said no so when a friend came to visit I went to the parking garage for a cigarette and just kept going.
I went home with the catheter still in.
Thankfully, I never wrecked mine. I came real close when a Caddy ran a stop sign and missed it by inches. One of those where you don’t even have time to hit the brakes.

Their standard layer feed, and the rest of their diet changes daily because of the weather. I was told to not give them scratch during the heat, so I've removed that from the rotation until Wednesday. I give them: bananas, watermelon, all kinds of berries, pumpkin/sunflower seeds, baby leaf lettuce, cucumbers, swiss chard, beets, mealworm mixture (it's mealworms, beetles, and flies), crickets, and some bread or yogurt to help with phosphorus intake, and fresh cherries from our trees when they were available, and clumps of freshly cut grass on days that they're restricted to the run. Mind you, this list is not all given to them in one day. I break it up so they don't get bored with a treat, and so they're getting a nice mix of what they need. I don't do nuts yet because they don't like them; I'm waiting til they're older. I may be missing some things, and I didn't list anything that they get free ranging.
Stop all the treats. Only give them the layer feed and the oyster shell. And if they free range, fine.

Oh, and they always have access to a foraging block. It has about 20 different types of seeds, greens, some corn, and oyster shell in it.

I was stopped on a two lane waiting on traffic to make a left hand turn.
F150 hit me from behind. Never even seen me he said. I went from waiting for a car to clear to picking myself up off the road thinking WTH did my bike go.
