That's a garden spider of some sort. They're great to have around.Normally I would agree. I like riding/zipper/orb weaver/WHAT-THE-F-IS-THAT spiders. They stay in one spot and eat the winged assassins, no need to interact with them at all.
Argiope aurantia, I've had dozens of them over the years. They get named and their webs are partitioned off, I also toss them a juicy bug here and there.That's a garden spider of some sort. They're great to have around.
