Don't do it. You'll just encourage to schedule more to justify their existence. Much better to let them have the meetings by themselves.

Yes, I've taken over pointless meetings. Concluded there was no reason to continue and dismissed everyone. If the agenda is complete BEFORE the meeting, maybe you should find out why you are the only person who doesn't know what happened. Just saying...

I push a LOT of meeting invites to emails. Some days I feel like our Project managers hold meetings to justify their existence. They don't NEED to, we have plenty of work for them to do, but it seems to be a character flaw. My 7-10 am daily is almost always double booked since we have people in Europe and the US and that's the transition time between them. So all the project calls and thinks like our weekly change and incident meetings happen then.

The rest I either ignore or push to emails. I'll still do 5 hours of meetings today though.
