One of my irl friends went to Texas, and he said the people there are passive aggressive.

It's called southern hospitality
We don't like foreigners.

Of course, he and his friends were pushing his car in ten inches of rain and playing blasting the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song Of course, it was Texas, not the UK.

In the UK I'm sure they would've thought it was normal. They talk like pirates after all
