So, my 2 broody hens were fighting over the new chick that was hatched. In that process, the chick that was currently hatching got left in the cold. I found the partially hatched chick ice cold but then.. it MOVED! I quickly warmed it up with some warm water, heater, towel, and my body heat. I set up a brooder in the house, took the other chick away (very angry at my hens right now) and just set them in the brooder. The icy cold chick has warmed up, is moving around and chirping.. think it will pull through! If it does.. it will be named Miracle.

We had a Miracle. A stubborn red BC cockerel with nekkid legs. He was the only one to make it after 3 nights in transit out of a dozen chicks.
