Ridiculous. Not quite "catapult launch from a carrier deck" but the hardest acceleration of anything I've driven that's street legal. I'm still on the fence about electrics for my family, but we're atypical. In general I think they're a game changer and a lot of people could transition to them seamlessly as the tech improves and the costs come down (if that happens, even ICE cars are spendy as hell nowdays).

Echo this. I've ridden in and driven a model 3 and a model S, and I was very underwhelmed with fit and finish. The driving experience was great, but man, hard to justify the price when the appointments are such a let-down.
tell her to do a red/white/blue flag wrap on it then and enjoy it if she wants it.
when i get home im gonna go take a look at the cadillac lyriq. i think it’s the best looking EV coming to market, inside and out. will report back if you’re interested.
