No, mean moms let their kids get the candy, and then they eat it.

Do they go to a Fall Festival at the church or anything?

No. My husband and I are a little hardcore about this stuff. Churches having "fall festivals" look like they're trying to do something for Halloween without the blowback of actually doing something for Halloween, so we avoid those as well. Just our personal stance.
One of my sisters made a funny Instagram video the other day. She started it off talking about her perspective as a Christian mom and what she thought about Halloween. I assumed it was going to be a theological discussion, but her main point that she ended the video with was, " … if it means 4 buckets of candy are coming into my house, the answer is 'No'!"


I guess she has the same level of vehemence toward candy that I do.
