Which BYC member scares you?

I got 5 eggs today from my 25 potential layers. I have, I think, 8 pullets from April. Only two or three of those 6-month olds are laying now. Of the remaining 17, some are last year's crop that are hard molting, some are two-year olds. The days are getting shorter so I don't expect much from any of them until about the middle of February, based on how they've done in previous years. But I don't really care; I didn't get them for the eggs. I got them for tick and chigger control and they're doing a fine job of that.

Are anyone else's chickens still laying really good? I'm still getting three or four eggs a day from my six hens. No extra light this year, I usually do but wanted them to go into a proper molt and rest this winter. Only one has started molting but she is in a slow molt
