It wasn't that heroic, really. Maisy gets an A+. She was absolutely perfect.
And the kids were really great until the last couple hours and, even then, they weren't naughty, they were just hyper.
They're like church mice when I tell stories, though.

One side was all scraped and apparently her geriatric cat has been climbing on the counters recently and helping himself. so she had to scrape off the frosting in that area.

Thanks, Becky. It's nice being with my family, despite the circumstances. I'm going to see Dad tomorrow and I just know I'm going to lose it but it will be so good to see him.
