Which BYC member scares you?

We tried that here but I think I planted them too deep.
When you plant them, the donut hole has to be just right in the hole. If not wholly in the hole, the hole won't make a whole donut. They will float out if not careful, I've been told.

I've heard you can propagate whole donuts, but again the whole hole has to be right.

Should I remove the glaze before planting.
I fed my chickens a half of a leftover waffle this afternoon. It wasn't pretty.
Note to self. Don't fall asleep in the run.
This "donut planting" conversation is far more serious and informative than I anticipated.
 
Frue.
They dig wallows, and they will dig if there's no grass. But other than that they just eat the grass and donuts and they sleep.
Mine were the opposite. When put on grass the went through and rooted it all up. They loved to root up chucks, flip them and eat all the roots.
Once they got everything down to dirt they don't do anything but wallow if it's a good mud spot.
