absolutely epic. i love that.

reminds me of my wife at our rental properties before we had managers in place and a steady maintenance/contractor team set up for each.

when we were still trialing contractors, they would try upcharging her on everything because they saw an easy mark with a woman on site. she’d leave with their balls in her purse because she knows all the local building codes, what materials will work better for different applications, and what they were tacking on that was completely unnecessary.

Makes ya feel good knowing they couldn't do it! My sister called me one day practically crying saying the mechanic said she needed a head gasket. "A HEADGASKET WHY" she said mechanic said oil was getting into the coolant. She said he even showed me the oil on his finger. I asked what did the oil look like she said "well it looked like oil". He's lying to you sis when you blow a headgasket and oil and coolant mix it looks milky white. Since they still had her car she politely said no. It was there in the first place for a rear main seal which I knew she had to have changed. While they were changing it they put some oil on thier finger and went and told her that. After the fact and she had her car back she filed complaints with whoever but I doubt anything came of it

That’ll do it! I sound like grandpa Jones, but I tend to forget the tenacity of young people. When we were just starting out (mid to late 20s), we always did what was necessary and never thought “we can’t do this.” It’s hard to find that now. Y’all should start a YT channel!

That was something we talked about when we were looking for a house. We knew we could put up with a place that needed a lot of work because we're young and can do a lot of that physical stuff that would be harder for older people.
And Diego is certainly not opposed to working hard, but he loves figuring out the most efficient way to do things. I'm sure it's saved him a lot of work.
I do have a YouTube channel but I usually post videos about my birds. I'm pretty sure Diego would not like any videos of himself on the Internet
