See, in my world, that is called a poor attempt at a guilt trip.
it’s not a guilt trip. if you had a spouse and children you’d see things differently.

if i was single, i’d go tomorrow.

but i have a wife who voiced her concerns to me about going up in a plane by myself and i took them to heart.

the same way she took my concerns to heart when she said she wanted to get goats this summer.

if you think give and take with your spouse is living in a prison, then im not sure what to tell you.

some day when the kids can help with goats or other animals, im open to those things. the same way i’m sure that one day i’ll get up in a plane. but that day isn’t today.

All it takes to cause problems.

See, in my world, that is called a poor attempt at a guilt trip. I had almost $10,000 saved to take a year's worth of flying lessons, scuba lessons, and to do a few other things that are on my list; no one wanted me to do anything because I was apparently going to die doing everything. My response is always the same: I will die a lot sooner, and in a more bloody way, if I am forced to live in their prison. The only reason why I gave up on the flying lessons was because I was informed that I would never pass the tests that are required to get the license. And, like everyone else, I did not see the end of the pandemic, so I chose to spend that money on a home remodel instead of persuing the other hobbies. Now I am saving up again to get my open water scuba license, even though I am obviously going to drown/be eaten by a shark/be decapitated by a speed boat. Dying while living is better than withering away in chains. But again, this is my opinion.
The open water diving is probably safe. I never see any news about them dying. The cave diving around here though? Yeah, I catch that news.

I want more room for my goats. Not super exciting.

Tell ya what: I will get an extra big barn so we can fit Duckie's pony inside.
Can I put in an order for 2 goats? Then you do not need an extra big barn. I am willing to take a few goats. 😂

I've been SCUBA diving since I was 14. It's not very dangerous if you research your dives and make sure your gear is in good operating order.

I would love to try cave diving, but with a group. I have seen pictures and can see that cave diving is beautiful, but I do not do well when enclosed by rock.
