A few weeks or month ago I went to the Chalmette battlefield where the battlefield of new Orleans was fought. Not very much to see there.

All the artifacts in the visitor center was pretty cool stuff like cannon balls and bullets they unearthed. They had a bayonet they found. Uniforms of the soldiers of the era and a few videos you could watch
