And everybody has their face in their phone. See it all day. Nobody and I mean nobody is paying attention

AZ does a lot of things "the old way" but one thing they've done right is a zero tolerance hands free law. If a cop sees you with a phone in your hand they can and will pop you and ticket you as a primary offense. You still see stupid people driving with their phones in their hands, but it's 5% vs 90% like before.

Unfortunately it's still not illegal to apply makeup or shave behind the wheel. See that nonsense in rush hour almost every time I'm cursed with being in rush hour.

Years ago when DW's Z3 came in we were working nights. When we got a chance to open it up she got about a half mile when the flashing lights came on. The State trooper asked if she knew she was going 65. She said she didn't think so but wasn't going to argue.
She told me when he left that she was going 'at least 85'.
