Are you having issues finding ammo for your 380? My sister carries one but has a helluva time finding ammo. Her hubby will probably buy her a 9mm for Christmas

The Sierras are turning blue now. Lots of more liberal Bay Area and Sacramento folks moving up here because it's cheaper and it's gorgeous. It's very much in a state of flux, and most foothill & mountain people are not happy. Huuuuge housing shortage. Housing prices climbed about 20% last year because Bay Area folks were coming up here and paying cash. Even in the short 2.5 years we've been here, so much has changed. Our house value has increased by almost 40%, which is great if we are selling, but not so great for folks trying to buy their first home. It's pretty sad, actually.
I can imagine, especially with so many people working remotely.
In '03 San Franciscans were moving to Sac.. Sacramentons were moving to the Sierras who were moving to Nevada.

Similar circumstances. We kinda made that same migration. We moved to Sac from the Bay Area in 97. Then we moved from Sac to the Foothills in 2020. But we definitely aren't one of the cool people. Ain't no paying cash for a house here.

They do have training you have to do for a ccw. That's why I said I wasn't a fan of the constitutional carry because you don't have to go through the training course. For a ccw in Ohio, you have to do an 8 hour class, 2 of those hours are live firing in the range
every state is different. all i had to do when i got my permit in CT was send ~10 shots down range to prove i was competent with a gun in my hands. no training whatsoever.
