Because I can always put on more clothes. I can be butt naked and dying from the heat/sweating. No thank you. I hate summer in Texas. I hate winter too, but that's because it isn't a season. It's a series of cold fronts. So you go into work and it's 75 degrees and sunny. And you come out to get in your car and it is 35 with a wind chill of 14. No lie, two or three years ago we had a friggen tornado warning and a thunderstorm that night and woke up to snow on the ground. It was so offensive.

well, first of all: air conditioning.

and then there’s definitely a point where both ends of the spectrum are uncomfortable. but give me 85 over 35 every single day

everything’s just less convenient in the winter.

getting out of the house takes longer because you’ve gotta warm up cars and put on more clothes. walking the dogs is a bigger chore than in the summer. it’s dark before dinner.

plus all the things i enjoy doing are warm weather outdoor activities.
