Jerry Hall has chickens too. Saw a cute photo of her in a magazine once with a hen perched on her shoulder.
I don't know if this'll help, but Joanna Lumley once volunteered to be imprisoned in a cage in Covent Garden to draw attention to the plight of battery hens.

I recall hearing something about Demi Lovato referring to a chicken as "her chicken" even though it wasn't actually hers during the filming of either Camp Rock or Camp Rock 2. She got attached to it, apparently.
