To help more, my body is very slim already because I run a lot and I'm a Vegetarian and everything...The cascades of fabric are flattering too, I noticed.
#1 It just looks more 'glam' and i like the style better & the color too.
I know with my younger sisters prom(last yr) there was a lot of girls wearing dresses like #2

LOL had to look up "opaque"...Well I don't want it to look dull/dark or "goth" or whatever...The picture really doesn't give #1 very much justice. It looks darker in the picture. But in reality it is a lighter purple/brown beige color with purple/silver mixed in. No black or "goth" colors in it, which I obviously don't want. My favorite colors are purple, blue, green, and colors in between like green/blue, purple/blue, etc. I am definitely not the type to wear dark, dull colors. I like natural colors, too.
Dress #1 really reminds me of the color of the Milky Way galaxy in this picture, but only with a bit more purple colors:
The silver sparkles on the dress look just like the stars, and the splash of light purple/silver/beige make it look just like that picture, only the dress has more purple and less brown than that.
I think dress number 1 has a classic style and when you go look at your prom pics 20 years later, you'll forever be grateful that you wore something so classic and not so "costumey." That way your kids won't go ha ha.... look at what you were wearing! Instead they'll be like, "Do you still have that dress?"
