OK, pond means a lot of different things to different people so I wasn't sure, anything from a hole with water in it that usually doesn't dry up to a groomed koi pond with sculptures and rare plants. My ducks will probably get a 4ft kiddie pool for a couple hours tomorrow, it is supposed to get up to 17F (-8C) tomorrow which is warmer than it has been for the last couple weeks. They will wedge about 6/7 at a time in there and splash all the water out of it, but will have a chance to bathe. They don't get much in mid winter. But in about 2 more months they will get their big pool back and be happy. If it gets above freezing for a couple days, they might get their 2 larger (8 ft) kiddie pools back before then. Right now those are completely frozen.Naah, we want them to use our pond, it's just that it's so small that it's borderline animal cruelty to house animals that NEED to stay in water a lot to be happy. The pond is circular and maybe 5 feet across. But okay, if they're happy with that, it's all good!
