which duck? its been decided and its not the call or the harliqueins

No experiance with calls. I only had mine for a week before they got killed. When I got new ducks I went with WH because that's what was being sold around here (and I want laying ducks). I will tell you my Welshies are pretty amazing though. Smart for ducks too. They seem to hold their own with all of my other animals too, not backing down and running but not attacking them. Very beautiful in my opinion too. I have heard though (again no experiance) that calls have trouble laying eggs sometimes because of their tiny size. So Idk if that makes them great breeders. My friend had some though and she said they were lovely, noisey, pets. Good luck! Either way I think you'll have a ton of fun. The things that tend to make ducks fun don't really differ that much from breed to breed. <3

Well there's been a change of ducks now. My welsh harlequines are not going to make it to me now. The owner is not going to cone to ia. So now I think I am getting pom swedens and a cayuga. Can anybody tell me about the cayugas. I have a Blue sewden do I imagine there isn't much difference between one with a pom on its head. But I know nothing about the Cayuga. So any advice would help me.
