I have just recently started selling hatching eggs. I have used both the foam egg cartons and the ones made from recycled paper from TSC. I am looking to buying some off of the internet now that I am using more cartons every week. Does one of the types protect the eggs better? Is there a reason to use one type over the other?

I would not ship the eggs inside the cartons if that is what you mean. Other than that I strongly prefer the Styrofoam cartons. The cushion better than the paper or plastic ones and they insulate better. Plus they are easy to clean and sanitize if you want to reuse them.

Why do you not ship eggs in the carton? I have been shipping them in the carton, and done good. I put shredded paper in the bottom of the carton, but the eggs in, and then fill it with shredded paper. I will get the foam ones.
