Which five plants would you choose?

I thought of honey too, but with so few plants...so little pollen for the bees to MAKE the honey, so I decided i better have a syruping type tree

This is hard to answer just as is. I mean are we talking survival? Are the said surviving meat sources also dependent on these 5? Does this include aquatic plants to maintain ocean life? Are we talking these 5 would be the only thing on earth? Obviously if that were the case the entire eco system would just die.
Most people are listing what they like to eat, and most are high in sugar. Corn and wheat are out the window as they have no real nutritional values other than energy and turn to sugar once ingested.

Me, I would go with the fallowing:

Palm tree - Very versatile. Shade, coconut meat, milk and oil, the bark and leaves can be used as building materiel, etc

Hemp - Food and utilitarian

Chick peas - Food, high in proteins,

Winter squash - Food source, Easily stored for 6 months or more.

Kale - Food source

Neat question...

A grain, a root, a leaf, a fiber, and a utilitarian.
*All as multi-purpose as possible...

I'm thinking maybe a member of brassica family since flowers, leaves and sprouts are all eating options?
Hemp would be smart.
A woody species for it's production of shade, building materials and heating fuel. Something fast-growing and multi-purpose... Maybe Apple? Although not super fast growing they have a number of uses. Palms would be good too but I'm not planning on moving south so I need species that will thrive in the pacific northwest.

Another food source- storable is good, maybe potato, or winter squash.
I'm not a grain guru but I'd miss breads way too much so thinking wheat or corn.

I'm a horiticulturist/ market famer so this question is going to drive me nuts and have me thinking and revising for DAYS!
