I just got into breeding French black copper marans. Which boy should I keep? They are 6 months old.

Keep the rooster that is sweet to you and the hens, and that doesn't show aggressive behavior. Can you post some pics of them and give a basic summary of their personalities?

Sorry, had to make my pic files smaller. Here are my boys. All are nice boys.

They are GORGEOUS! I personally love the all shiny blue one with the orange neck. He's very pretty!
I don't know a thing about breeding chickens so I don't know if he doesn't meet the standards for his breed with the discolored feathers.
You can do a rooster flock-all roosters out of sight of the hens-if you don't want to get rid of any of them. No hens, nothing to fight about! @RoostersAreAwesome can give you more info on rooster flocks, if that is what you want to do.

For breeding purposes, I would not keep the black one. The first one looks like he's kind of humped up. Could you get a better picture?

Really like the third roo. I like that small tail, how old is he? Good comb, and the best color of all three. He's your best bet. No doubt.

Nevermind, I can tell his age by his spurs. He has a lot of growing yet to do, but my opinion remains the same. The third roo has best color. Do you know anything about their egg genes? Did you hatch them?

The last one has one white feather though. And some lighter feathers on rump. Still sticking with the last pic?
