Might I suggest this DIY Incubator, It does not make use of gas or electricity. This can be your backup incubator for emergencies such as power outages that can last for hours or even days.

I got the NR 360, for 130 from my local farm store. It holds 22 eggs, but so far in 5 hatches I've had every one hatch every time. Except for a couple infertiles. It's a really good incubator.

I built mine for less than $100 and can hatch about 82 eggs at a time with auto turners.

I've had 240 quail eggs in there at once with 120 hatching weekly.
