Finally at a point where I can buy an incubator but I'm not certain which is the best model or easiest to work with. I haven't done this before so would definitely welcome your advice. Please weigh in with your opinion/experiences with Hovabator or Brinsea models. Thanks!

Do you have a budget you're trying to stay in? I didn't want to spend to much, but I wanted something that was good quality, so I ordered a Brinsea Eco 20. With shipping and the BYC coupon code, it came to $113 (directly from Brinsea). They shipped it the next business day after I ordered it, and it should be here Monday.

If I'd had a few hundred dollars to spend on one, my answer would be different, though.

I think it could depend on how much you want to spend and how often you plan to hatch. Also how many eggs you want to hatch each time.

I have a Hovabator Genesis 1588 with auto turner and like it. You can almost set it & forget it. In my last hatch of my own eggs I had 47 of 48 hatch. I paid about $170 (including shipping) last spring from Cutler Supply. It serves me well for the 2 to 4 hatches I plan to do each year.
