Which is the best rooster in warm environments

I love in southern Florida and I’m searching for a rooster for my hens. I Would like a breed that comes from a hot humid climate. As of now I’m thinking of a Malay but id like others ideas. I’m looking for something of bigger size because there are a lot of predators in the area so something intimidating would be nice to fend off the smaller of the predators

My favorite is barred rock crossed with black australorp. Very good protectors and very hansome.
