Just curious. I've always heard it's the cockerels but mine was SO skittish as a chick (EE). The speckled Sussex and Dominiques were my previous human-contact seeking hens but this time it's a GSL. Lucy the lap chicken:
This is Juggernaut, She is a Tetra Brown, She also believes that she is a human baby because going even remotely near the brooder results in her barreling through all of the other chicks and staring up waiting for a hand to be lowered so that she can climb in. This chick would rather be held than anything else in the whole world.
