I'm wanting the Pro's and Con's of your mesh that you use.
Why do you have your type of mesh?
Did or are you having problems with it?

Thanks in advance

My runs are a combination of chainlink (the good stuff, not the cheap weebly stuff they sometimes sell nowadays), 1x1" welded wire mesh, and 2x4" welded wire mesh with smaller mesh on the bottom 2'. (The latter is only in a location where it is protected by an additional chainlink perimeter fence, if that matters; I would do it in a more exposed location if budget required, though). All of it was free or bought at very low prices at auctions etc, and I cannot think of any "cons" at all

I use chickenwire or plastic mesh to separate my indoor pens, where there aren't solid dividers. The mesh seems to catch (and then release, when bumped!) more dust than solid dividers, but otherwise, works fine for me. Again, it's mostly from farm and junk auctions, and thus real cheap.

I use good quality 2x4 wire for the run. Chicken wire under the roost. I used hardware cloth under the old roost but it caught more poop than it let through.

Just get good quality whatever you use & it will last. Make sure chicken wire is galvanized or coated or it will disolve in a year.

first 3' is hardware cloth and a 1' buried below.. rest of run is chicken wire. we live with eagles, coyotes, fox, raccoons.. you name it and it has stood strong. no entries at all..
