Which one is better?

Which one is better? A regular waterer, or a nipple waterer? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

I have nipple system and it work out great. There is no more muddy water and only require to add or clean the bucket 3-6 weeks.

I have a nipple waterer in the run. During the day, the chickens would rather drink out of the dog's bucket or some convenient mud puddle, while they are out.
