Which one is the female quail?

I was given these special quails that were a male and female but i dont know which one is the male and which is the female there are two of them a white quail and a brown quail look at the photo below. Thanks.

You'll have to provide better pics. Can't even begin to tell on the white one. Do you know breed/type of the quail or the color they were called?

I will provide better pics just tell me which angle do i take it with and no i dont know the breed i was given these chicks from my dad for my birthday.. Ill provide them tomorrow as it is dark outside now..

These are Corturnix quail. The one of the left is a male. Not sure about the white one though. Good luck with your new little ones!

Check their vents. Males have a large, soft bump between their vent and their tailbone.

 

[cottontail farm]

The one on the left is absolutely a male. Males have red breasts, females have speckled breasts.
