Which one of these is not like the others?

yeah my buddy got a really ugly silkie from me when i had to make room for more silkies. he was a very nice roo and when my buddy put him with a silkie hen i gave him for his birthday the rooster actually hatched a clutch of 4 eggs while the hen went broody a day later and hatched a clutch of 6 eggs 4 days later. they both raised the chicks. silkies are the coolest. i am obsessed with them.

oh my -- what a good guy! After reading the title of this post I now have the Sesame Street song of the same title stuck in my head!

Soooooo absolutly precious!! i once had a roo and a lonley young chicken (only a week and a half about and mom had taken off with babies that hatched weeks earlyier than this one). I put down the baby this sweet roo beckoned her to come over while lifting his wing offering warmth and snuggle.. They can be so precious.. That rooster raised her up to bee his wifie..

All you sentimental people should get yourself a pair of pigeons.

Male and female share brooding duties and they both feed the babies pigeon milk. Pigeons can be a nice diversion from chickens.
