I’m so sorry, not good pictures, but I’m taking them to an auction tomorrow, so any advice, is good advice. @Amer

Thank you!!

I like 2 best, though I really need good profile view pics to get anything. Remember, type is more important than color. That said, 2 has a less thick lace and I’d judge the shade to be better.
I think the best thing you can do is handle the birds. What is the biggest? Feel the breast for good fleshing and muscling, and look for good width of body.
Finally, look at them from the side. A Wyandotte should be nice and round, a bird of curves and circles. You want a real deep breast and width including to the tail and between the legs. Healthy leg set=healthy bird. You can’t judge much of the tail at this age.
I took a few pictures exemplifying round Wyandotte type… and the hypocrisy of me expecting you to take good photos when mine are pretty bad too

Ok, I will try! I wish I did this earlier, but now of course they have to go to an auction, so I’ll have to do this myself…

He is supposed to be splash… so he’s uneven even for a splash? I only had two splashes hatch, the other was really slow to feather out and didn’t look the best and he’s my favorite. I might not breed him, but I’ll probably keep him.
Here is his brother, who also went to an auction.

No, that’s right for a splash. I’m a big dumb and didn’t know that he was a splash.
