Hi!
My family and I are thinking of getting some more chickens, but we'd like to raise them ourselves. Do you recommend chicks or eggs? Will chicks bond to us?

unless you have an incubator to hatch eggs your better off getting chicks

Chicks will bond easy enough. No need to hatch them yourself unless you just want to try to do that. I would start with chicks then you only need basic equipment and no egg incubator.
