Cull doesn't mean kill, in all cases. From what it sounds like, she means just sell.

I'd keep the barred and the polish. I know, silkies are adorable...but they don't seem to protect the flock as well. Depends on what you want the roo for.

These numbers your talking about--very helpful, thanks. If I kept all three of the roosters that would put the ratio down to 3.6 hens per rooster which is in the range that you say they would probably fight a lot. But maybe this could possibly work since one of the roosters is a bantam, I don't know if that matters. He's pretty feisty.
